Dear Harbour User,

Unfortunately, NPHC has recently failed its quarterly water test Carried out by Cornwall Council.  The reason for this is due to the large amount of rainfall and the structure of Newlyn Harbours aged spring fed system.

What have we done since being informed?

Newlyn Harbour has switched to South West Water Supply immediately until such time as the system has been flushed through and NPHCs own supply has been retested and is compliant with section 80 of the Water Industry Act 1991.

What do you need to do?

Despite being on South West Water supply the length of pipeline is vast so as a matter of caution please ensure that all water is boiled before consumption.
