The Newlyn Christmas Lights Switch On will take place on Friday 13 December 2013 at 8.00 p.m. in Newlyn Harbour

The programme for the evening is as follows:

6.30 p.m.  Music by Bagas Degol

7.00 p.m.  Welcome on behalf of the Newlyn Lights by Malcolm Pilcher

7.10 p.m.  Penzance Silver Band, Bagas Degol, Newlyn Male Voice Choir and the Ladies Orpheus Choir and hymns

7.30 p.m.  Newlyn School

7.45 p.m.  Blessing by the Rev. Julyan Drew

7.50 p.m. Prayer by Keith Dixon

8.00 p.m.  Official lights switch on by David Barron and Rob Parsons followed by the Firework Display
