Here in Newlyn Harbour we are proud to be the largest fishing port in England (UK Sea Fisheries Statistics 2021), having some 750m of quayside berthing for fishing vessels over 12m LOA and a pontoon for over 100 vessels under this size. With significant numbers of beam trawlers, stern trawlers, gil netters, ring netters and potters, we also provide a good surface area for the maintenance of all types of fishing gear.
Before arriving in port, vessels should contact our Berthing Master 07771 394530 with as much notice as possible (24hrs +) with more appreciated for those with drafts 3.5m or special requirements (fish landing to lorry, quay berths for the removal of gear etc.)
Upon approaching the port vessels are requested to call ‘Newlyn Harbour’ on VHF. Ch.12 and follow any instructions given.
